Paint is always a good way to freshen up, and update mobile homes. You can prime and paint paneling, if that is what you have in there. Same with the cabinets. Not sure of the age of your mobile home, butits so easy to work on mobile homes!

You use the term (upgrade) to me this means making some major changes. If you want to spruce-up, start with some new window treatments, maybe a slip cover on the sofa, a new shower curtain, new lamps in the bedroom, and paint or spruce-up your kitchen cabinets. If you have some cabinets that have

nice wood, wash with Murphy's oil soap, wipe clean to get any residue off. Finish with either Wilbert's lemon oil, or a product called Rejuvenate, follow directions on the bottle. Good Luck!

Just about anything you can do to a stick built home, you can do to a mobile. Paint, lay tile, lay carpeting, upgrade kitchen and bath cabinets or paint them.....

To prevent the chopped up look that is common in mobile homes, between the living room kitchen areas, consider putting down vinyl flooring a Hard wood look finish. Then use an area rug to match your décor in the living room. If the home has the wood grain paneling common in mobile homes, use a good primer and paint it. Surprisingly it comes out pretty good. Keep furniture on the small size, like an apartment size sofa. Keep colors all within one shade (in the living / dining kitchen areas) , a monochromatic look, this will increase the size visually. Just use a bright accent color for a pop of color - (pillows, candles placemats and such) Floor to ceiling sheer curtains and window toppers are a good choice. If you need sun control put inexpensive vinyl window shades underneath.
