Ikea.
how much space is there and where is it going
If you have the basic tools or know someone who does, you can make simple DIY cabinets or shelves. I hope this site helps.

You can also go with 'snap together' shelving you can get at any big box store or on Amazon. I love mine. I can make it shorter or taller by adjusting the units height. Hope these help.
For where? Bedroom, bathroom, kitchen? What about Ikea type storage options?
What kinds of items, and how heavy are the items that you are considering storing?
In the kitchen the open shelving concept is very popular. I think it looks great for dishes/glasses/pots & pans but I would prefer something with doors for storing food. Also, you might check your local Restore center from Habitat for Humanity. They resell items contractors have left over from their jobs, sometimes new, but mostly pulled out of homes that they are fixing up and other donated items so they can raise funds to build housing for those in need. As a general rule, their pricing is very inexpensive but most of their items need work. Best of luck with your project!
