Use a rag and rub it in, then seal it with beeswax.
Walnut oil would be easier, and won't go rancid. You can get it in a grocery store.

A friend of mine recently made a handful of large butcher blocks for gifts and highly recommends the beeswax, but there are other options available to you .... unfortunately, there are many tung oils with disguised ingredients, so please read them before you make your final purchase. Not all oils are genuine.
I hyst pour on and use an old pastry brush to paint it on.
