I'm not sure what type of setting she wants for her wedding but I found this idea and I think it's so cool!! You'd have to get cloth thick enough so that the straw doesn't prick people.

Straw Plait or Corn Dollies- Gingham table cloths or Trims Bows.- Corn flowers - Poppies - Country Flowers - Corn in Jam Jars tied with Raffia.

You can buy some cheap votive or any size candle holder and grab a bunch of sticks from your yard. Cut the sticks to the size of each candle holder & glue them on. Take some twine or raffia and maybe a ribbon in the color your daughter is having the bridesmaids wear and tie it around the holder and place a battery operated tea-light inside. As Fauxgal mentoned burlap...you could make small 8" burlap wreaths and place the candle inside as a really nice centerpiece for the tables. They could all match or all be different and it's another way to tie in the bride's color(s). You could also get some heavyish twine (to mimic a clothesline), pick up some small clothes pins & paint them a color she's using, find pictures of her from baby to present and have the groom (or his mom) get you pictures of him spanning his life and then get pictures of the two of them together. Start at one end with your daughters pictures progressing in age, do the same on the other end date with the grooms pictures & fill the middle of the pics of them together. I saw this at one of the last weddings I was at and I thought it was really nice. It's especially nice for the family members as it brings back a lot of great memories. This just popped into my head... if there's a sizeable number of children attending and if room permits, maybe have a little crafting corner where they could draw pictures or make cards or anything appropriate for their ages to gift the bride & groom. Kids typically don't want to be there. They're tired, bored, getting into mischief, driving their parents crazy. You could ask or pay a couple of the older kids to watch them for a few hours so their parents could relax and enjoy the wedding. Sorry this ended up being so long! My advice would be to get the decorations done early, even if you have to store them for 8 months! There will be so much craziness going on as you get closer to the Big Day. Have fun with whatever you choose to do. If it's not fun, it's not worth doing. (My mom's new mantra!)

Even if you don't buy a thing, that will give you an idea of what is being used. You can find almost any color for paper and plastic goods, and many can be printed. Lace, twine washi tape, ribbon and burlap can bind roses and other flowers. And everything from toothpicks to balloon arcs can come in her colors, from one place or another. 😇💞

Start collecting glass canning jars now. Often at thrift shops. Most of the themes for country weddings use them.

When you send out invites to her shower or wedding, include cute note cards and ask people for their favorite recipes. They can return their recipes at the shower/wedding. My Mom did this for me 30 years ago. I still have every one of them and use a few often. Good luck and congrats.
