I've seen where people have put in wardrobes or floor to ceiling cabinetry (Ikea) and I think both look very nice. Depending on how much space you have to work with the floor to ceiling cabinetry is great. My friends did an entire wall in floor to ceiling cabinetry from Ikea that was fairly narrow (not too deep) and they had secialty cabinets just for shoes, one with compartments for crafts...I was in awe! And it didn't stick way out into the room. Worth a look!
I had friends with the same problem and they added antique chifforobes in their rooms.
You can buy canvas and pvc pipe moveable closets. They hold quite a bit. I think the one I saw came from Sam's Warehouse. Holding almost as much, but not as sturdy if overloaded, are the packing boxes from U-haul and other places. The boxes are made of cardboard with a metal bar to hold hanging clothes. You can paint them, use wallpaper, or even build around them. Best wishes 😇💖
Putting them on either side of the window, is often less intrusive.
You can make them looked built-in.
Wr plan to add a bathroom and closet maybe later and need a temporary fix right now. It's a small cabin but this idea would look great otherwise Thank you
Get a large adjustable roller rack for hanging clothes, and tie wrap some basket along one side or across, then sew a cover for it to easy remove and wash and throw off the front to access your clothes.
