Coastal Autumn Table

Living in Florida, I love coastal colors. Today’s tablescape is a mix of coastal colors, shells and shabby pumpkins. You don't have to go with orange or gold if that doesn't fit your color scheme. Add fall element, deepen your colors, and add more texture to your decor.
I started with a white tablecloth and woven grass placemats. The placemats add so much texture and add contrast to shiny plates.  I layered turquoise plates and a seascape saucer.  Each place setting has a small shell on the saucer. The napkins are in holders that match the place mats.

The centerpiece is flowers in a painted Ball jar with shabby pumpkins and shells on a wood charger. The shabby pumpkins were dollar store orange which I painted pink, whitewashed that and added gold highlights. I painted the  Ball jar pink and then added a white wash over it too to make it very pale. This contrasts with the dark wood charger and adds a natural fall element. Seashells are always appropriate for me.
On my corner stand is a manatee sculpture. I like to rotate my art in different rooms for a new look. Move your art around to give a new perspective. Shop your own home.
An autumn tablescape does not have to be gold. You can add rustic and autumn elements in your color scheme. Add pine cones, leaves, dried botanicals, and fresh produce to signify the season.

This is beautiful, and your choices work so well together. I live on the Gulf in Alabama, so these colors make perfect sense to me in the Fall! : )

I was born in Alabama and I've lived in Florida for decades. We're practically neighbors!
