If they aren't too abundant you can put some apple cider vinegar in a disk with some dish soap and place it where they are seen most, like around the fruit basket or near the sink. They will fly into it and drown.
Get a glass and pour in a little bit of orange or apple juice with a drop of dish soap. Cover the glass with cling film like Saran wrap and poke a few tiny holes with a toothpick or needle. Flies will be able to crawl in through the holes but they won't be able to get out. Change out the juice every couple of days until they're gone. It might take a week or so depending on how many flies you have.
Put all fruit to fridge
They are fruit flies. They don't like the smell of vinegar, so you can put out a shallow bowl of it.
Hi Monique. I put apple cider vinegar in bowls. Then add a little dish soap and just enough water so the soap starts to foam. They are attracted to the vinegar but get trapped in the soap.
Fruit Fly remedy
4TBSP vinegar
2TBSP water
1 small drop dish soap
A small piece of apple core
Mix all together and put in cereal bowl with apple core in the center. Place on counter near kitchen and bathroom sinks. Don't move the bowl until its all evaporated. They should all be gone by then.
Pour boiling water down your drains to kill larvae.
To remove the ones flying around and annoying you, use spray cooking oil to coat one side of a paper plate. Use the plate to swat them out of the air. They stick to the plate and die
