Some uses for medicine bottles...store small household items in them, craft supplies such as beads, sequins, etc, hardware such as nuts, bolts and screws. Make a small travel sewing kit for your purse. Some of them are the perfect size to store pocket change. Use them for spices, etc in the kitchen.

I use them to hold things like tooth picks, buttons . beads, nails tacks, paper clips and assorted kinds of trinkets.

They make great holders for a purse. I do not always need Qtips but if I do, I use an old medicine bottle, for breath mints, for stomach mints, or anything small you need that day. Some people give them away for missionaries to use for medical facilities on mission fields, they dispense meds with them, hope this gets you started . You may be able to sell them on ebay for projects if you have a good number of them. I use the largest ones for a food toy for our house dogs. The big ones do not roll under the couch or chairs and they roll them until a piece of food or treat falls out. I cut a hole in the side just big enough for their treats to fall out. They love playing with it. It is a cheap version of the same type toys sold in pet stores.

Fill them with flower seeds that you have left over. Put in frig until next year and then plant them outdoors. I do this all the time for marigolds, morning glories, double fringed petunias etc. It works great and saves me quite a bit of money every year.

I use them for broken sewing needles from my sewing machine and dull needles from hand sewing needlework. Small buttons, nuts and bolts, and screws are a few items to be stored in the bottles.

I collect the empty bottles and when I am potting plants in the spring, I use them instead of gravel in the bottom. They provide great drainage and they keep the weight manageable.
