Have you tried hydrogen peroxide?
Hydrogen peroxide. Just keep applying it. The blood foams as it dissipates. Wash to fully get rid of it. BUT if the sheet has an excessive amount of the permanent press stuff on it, it may be resistant to the peroxide. Good luck.

I agree ... peroxide, but if it's really stubborn, wet it, rub a bar of Fels Naptha soap on it, let sit, and scrub with a soft bristle brush. You can use peroxide at the same time if you want.
