A philadendron that is trained on a trellis of your desired height might work well..
All depends what Zone you are in so that it will work year round.
beautiful!!! I'd plant perennials honestly!!!
Best choice something evergreen Camellias are beautiful flower in January/February depends on your Zone or mount a trellis for climbers
Plant something native to the area, in the evergreen family.
Tiny Tower Italian Cypress
Depending on where you live... Start with a small evergreen tree and add color according to season. There is a way to plant bulb plants to have blooms all year long.... ask your LOCAL nursery what works best in your area.
How about holly? If you choose holly make sure the plants don't need a male and female for producing those beautiful red berries. You can even cut some for holiday use inside your home.
That is a really beautiful planter. I see a trellis (square pieces) with a nice vine on it, like English or Boston Ivy. They are both abundant and yet will allow the container itself to be seen.
That’s a beautiful garden, there’s so much you can do with it. You could build it up, so it sits higher. I like It as is though! you could put an evergreen on either end for a little extra privacy, if you like. I see a trellis, with some kind of flower climbing thru it, I also love Hydrangeas, which will grow and spread out. Go to your local nursery with a picture and explain what you would like to do, most will be happy to help you plan a layout. Good luck!
