Last year I made this simple DIY wall Christmas tree out of branches and totally loved it. It was the perfect way to light up the mini human's hallway to make it festive, cozy and a decorative night light. This year I am definitely going to turn it into an advent calendar or grab some clothespins and use it to hang all the Christmas cards our family receives! What would you use it for? Comment down below.
This is a full video tutorial of how I made this branch Christmas tree! I post three DIY tutorials a week that vary in level of difficult and area of decor it is for. You are bound to find something you love so make sure to head over and subscribe!
I legitimately ran into my backyard and looked for scraps the gardener left behind. It gets so windy up where we live that branches are always ripping off so I scored enough to create the basic Christmas tree shape.
I had the proper sheers to cut the branches down to size - there are eleven here that are five inches a part.
I grabbed my twine and scissors then took it inside to assemble.
I laid it out and cut twine a little bit longer for each side since when we make the knots, it'll shorten down the twine so you want to ensure it is long enough.
I double knotted on each branch.
Once I got to the top, I knotted it into a loop.
I grabbed some white Christmas lights and star cut outs then lined our mini human's hallway with the decor. A simple nail in the wall held this up but if you want to add Christmas cards or simple decor - make sure you are supporting it properly.

Have an incredible Thanksgiving Holiday.
