What is it made of, and what colour is it? Is it washable? Do you know what the stains are?
If it is a light colour and washable, pretreat with Resolve and soak in the hottest water possible with OxiClean added.

Don't dry until you've got the results you desire.
I would get the Sun powdered laundry detergent at Dollar Tree and they have disinfectant too lysol/pinesol.
I have found 20 Mule Team Laundry Borax to get a lot of stains out and odors.
Rinse the whole area with cold water running continually for five minutes. If the stain is still there, it could be food or drink based, it could be blood or other bodily stains, or it could be from rusty water. Use Spray and Wash or another pretreatment material on all the stained areas. Wash the bedspread with your usual detergent, plus a booster like borax or Oxy-Clean, but no fabric softeners. Use a gentle cycle if your machine has one. After the wash, if most but not all the stain is gone, wash it the same way again. In either case, dry the bedspread with no fabric softeners.
Best wishes 😇
You did not indicate the age or the material used in the bedspread. Also, it is textured? If you do not know, take it to a professional/ licensed drycleaner. They should have a licensed spotter who could treat the material. Also, consider taking it to a fiber restoration cleaner/ specialist (at a museum).
