It is so easy to make these cute little frosted snowmen with a few flat marbles, etching solution, and some paint, plus they are super fun to make too!!!
Start with some flat glass marbles, I like the bigger ones from the dollar store, but the little ones will work too. Place them in the etching solution for 15 minutes to frost them. The solution is reusable, so just pop it back into the container for next time! Rinse off the marbles with soap and water and dry them well.
Look at the difference between an etched and non-etched marble - the etched one looks so frosty!
Using acrylic paint add in little faces in orange and black. The etching solution makes the paint "stick" better. The nose is a simple triangle to look like a carrot and the eyes and mouth are dots to resemble coal or rocks.
You can leave them just like they are, flat little snowmen, super cute little marbles. Or....
Wrap the outside of the marble in twine and glue it in place for a cute little ornament!!!
