We put a regular litter box behind a door. The door in the utility room my hubby cut a hole in so the cats could walk inside to access their box to do their business. Just used some scrap wood to make a nice trim and painted it to match the door. Problem solved litter box is out of sight.

You can always just paint a standard plastic litter box. Paint it to match the surrounding environment if you want it to blend in. You can decorate it with paw impressions of an contrasting paint.
I saw a DIY once that had a end table with one end taken off. Painted very nice. And little curtains hung On each end. Only one end opened. It was very nIce. Unless it smelled you wouldn't think about their being a cat box in there. id put the bottom of a laundry basket in First You know the sides cut off. Then set the cat box on top of that. I believe they had decor on top of the end table or a lamp I need to do this! Thanks for the reminder.
I saw a really cute one made from an end table that had the front door removed and a curtain replacing it that the cat can jump into and out of .

Have fun! Lucky kitty too. 🐈
We have a cat. She's a sweet little animal and we have come to love her. She goes about three and a half pounds but she is the boss of our 120 pound dog. They are so much fun to watch together. Anyway, we have her litter box inside the TV stand . We took the back of the TV stand completely off and removed the shelf that was inside. Her litter pan fits inside just right. Anyone who comes inside our house has no idea what's behind the doors of our TV stand. Wishing you well. And your kitty too.
