Fit TV on Bracket on a wall ! Make fold down worktop on side panel ?
Put some shelves over the garbage can. I see you can get 1 shelf at counter level (you will still be able to put stuff in your garbage can), and one to align with the bottom of the top cabinet on which to set the TV. Make these as long as you can with the first shelf being as deep as the counter top...this will give you room more space...and the second shelf being the depth of the top cabinet. Be sure and make sure the shelves are secure. Is there any other space in the room where you can hang the TV on the wall? In such a small area, why not get a smaller TV?
Your stuff is below the bottom of the cabinets so much of it will fit on that counter level shelf.
remove the tv is the first idea, then browse through here for ideas...https://www.pinterest.com/pin/302726406187351409/?lp=true
Thanks. That was a thought too.
Could you put the trash can under the sink without it's lid? Then get a tall skinny cubby organizer /or build shelves and put them where the trash can is? Then you could move some of the countertop clutter over to that area and have more counter space.
I have learned, watching "The Clutterbug" that by removing the appliances that you don't use more than once a day, off your counter, you have way more space. Just by removing my 4 slice toaster, I gained a lot of room, as I ALWAYS made sure that nothing was close to it, even though it was a "cool to the touch" brand. At first I didn't think I had the room underneath to store it, but it's amazing how much room you find when you go through THAT dumping ground too!! I sure was surprised!! Good luck.
Do you need the TV to be in there? It takes up a lot of counter space. I'd either mount it somewhere or get rid of it. You could put a drop down counter on the side where the trash can is and move the trash can to under the sink.
Move electronics to a different part of the house. Also, is that an old music system? A bluetooth speaker takes up no space and can be mounted anywhere. Some people put their microwaves on the fridge. Put a couple of small shelves to the right of the door/left of cupboards. Also, the bottom corner cupboard (middle of the V)looks like it cant open,in which case it creates an irritating waste of space. Open it up somehow?
I would make a shelf above the garbage can for the microwave.. Get rid of all the appliances. Designate one cabinet underneath for them.. When you use one, put it back when done.. Can you use the top of the cabinets for storage by putting items not used often in baskets???
Like everyone else has suggested, the TV should be mounted on the wall, or moved to another room. I also have used ideas from here on cabinet organization that could give u more space on top or bottom to put appliances. Trash can under cabinet & maybe a few shelves on either side of your cabinets to hold smaller items. Could u chg the solid bottom corner & put in a lazy Susan door to open that space up for addl space?
If you don't use it EVERY DAY, Put it away --- hang the tv from the wall with an adjustable bracket ...
Smaller tv, and mount iy
