I personally pulled 100's or more by roots. 1/4 a/c.
I don't know anything else.
Now don't laugh, I know a lady with collies - she vacuums her yard - yes, vacuums, with a shop vac. She swears it helps.
When I moved to Southern Utah a polygamist man suggested I wrap either a broom or rake with old pantyhose & sweep the yard. I also sprayed the plants w a systemic weed killer. ( I know, not very organic. I just didn't have the ability to pour boiling water on half an acre..) The remainder I picked up by walking around wearing old flip flops. In one season I was down about eighty percent--a much more manageable problem. Let me know if this helps.
