My mind jumps to lighting. Cover inside with decorative paper or mesh, lace, and use small LED light. Or use as a frame for small pictures to make a memory box of a special time, hot glue keepsakes inside or out.
Decorate it up. May be the size of nail polish bottles?
I would ask friends and family to save their empty spice containers and use for glitter,or punched out hearts etc. for scrap booking . Or you could use the spice containers by nailing a hole in bottom and plant seeds to start plants.
How about a jewelry organizer? Bathroom Vanity Organizer? (you could reuse spice jars without lids to put in toothbrushes, paste, cotton balls, etc.) Gonna have to be on the look out for one myself now LOL!!!
Take the hole pieces off, install cup hooks and dowel ’arms’ to hang necklaces/chains, replace one side with balsa wood with small holes drilled in forvpierced earrings
I have a stained one I use for my Keurig cups.

Repurposing an Old Spice Rack Into a Craft Paint Organizer
You could paint/stain it then put favorite family photos inside so that the circles frame the photo. Then you could spin around for a different view of the photos.
If you have some bottles of craft paint store them in the openings!
Some have used them for coffee pods...like me!

lighting was my first though. Paint them ,add solo lighting and use on your deck or front porch.
How about something to organize earrings? Or small office supplies like paper clips and tacks? In the kitchen to organize sprinkles for cookies, muffins, and cakes? Organize spices?
Hi there Jennifer! I use my old spice rack as a 'mini office'. Each bottle neatly sorts out office supplies like rubber bands, thumb tacks, pink pearl eraser, whiteout, paper and binder clips, etc. I saved one jar for humor! It's my 'beach in a bottle'...sand, tiny seashells and bits of sea glass I've saved. For when I need a little break from office work ;-D
I might drill a small bolt in the top to hang from ceiling inside closet and hang scarves or belts through the holes.
I use mine to place those coffee and hot cocoa cups in.
Use it to hold craft paint bottles
