if you are in a place that is warm year round, I'd suggest succulents in pots, and bougainvillea for a trellis. Talk to your local nursery for advise.

Many flowers tolerate day long sun like roses, sweet williams, petunias, geranium, and aloe vera for a variety of perennials or annuals. I look at the labels in the nursery when I visit them to determine better which flowers to buy for my sun light or shade preference in the yard. You might want to look at bushes and trees too. Just a few thoughts, hope this helps

Pansies in the winter, bulb flowers and geraniums in the spring, petunias and sea grass in the summer, and asters and other hard-stemmed flowers in the fall. If your flowers need shade in the middle of the day, try something like polyester parachute cloth or a large table umbrella, anchored to the ground or narrow posts. They should last a long time, let in filtered light, and be moveable or brought in when a windy storm is predicted. Best wishes ☺️
