moles voles dig tunnels. there are silent sound making device you can get or get a cat...my cat got the moles away from the house.
Gophers, moles or voles. I built a windmill. Now I have 6 dogs running around. They go for grubs in your lawn. If you have children or pets, be careful how you treat the lawn, many remedies use chemicals that are not safe.
Close all holes except one. Place trap in open whole with a bit of lettuce in trap cover it so light can’t get it and good luck. One gopher can do a lot of damage. If your into no kill you can get no kill traps and release it some where. Good luck they ruined my garden took a couple days but finally trap did trip. There are other ways people say, stick of gum, flush out with hose, gopher bombs it goes on and on even to gassing them. Which would been my next step
Lee is right. It's most likely voles. They are small critters that look like field mice. They tunnel through the debris just at the ground level of the grass to get the insects that are living in the soil. If you have grubs in your soil (grubs are whitish-wormy larvae of June bugs), it's an open invitation. A good predator, like a cat will help, but getting rid of your grubs and using a sonic device are your better options.
think you have a mole
Free range chickens will also control grubs.
