Truly best way ( besides pulling ) to kill flower bed weeds ???

I've always used Preen and mulch.

Smother them. Newspaper, cardboard, landscape fabric, then top with mulch.

The easiest, cheapest and best way I know of is to pour boiling water on them. They will die instantly and not come back.

you can not use vinegar or chemicals.....you can try the boiling water method,HOWEVER it will kill everything just like chemicals.option pull them or smother them

The easiest and cheapest way is to pour boiling water at the roots of the weeds to kill them instantly. You can also pour "cleaning strength" vinegar on the weeds, but it takes a few days longer to kill them. Both methods work.
