Sorry, I don't have any "instruction" sites I can offer. Tension rods, like café curtain rods and shower rods, just need to stable sizes to press against. Read the sizing carefully and match the rod to the length you need to span.

DIY taught me many ways to do this, one is hanging a rod behind your bed. It has to be a see thru material & put fairy lights behind it
Try putting you query in the box by the magnifying glass. Is this the video where lengths of fabric were made into strips and attached to a tension rod installed in a door way? Woven fabrics can be torn into or cut into long strips and attached to the rod with what I’ve been told is a half hitch, you fold the strip in half making the cut ends even. The loop at the fold comes over the rod ant the tails of fabric are pulled thru the loop, let them drop to the floor.
