Sorry, I don't have any "instruction" sites I can offer. Tension rods, like café curtain rods and shower rods, just need to stable sizes to press against. Read the sizing carefully and match the rod to the length you need to span.

Woven fabrics can be torn into or cut into long strips and attached to the rod with what I’ve been told is a half hitch, you fold the strip in half making the cut ends even. The loop at the fold comes over the rod ant the tails of fabric are pulled thru the loop, let them drop to the floor.
