It looks like this piece gives you a lot of storage. Maybe you could find another one like it or find bookcases to go beside it for more storage.
If you don’t have a door for it, use a curtian on a spring rod.
Not sure what you are asking but if you want to hide the insides Lowes and Menards have various size doors in a good variety. All you have to do is put some hinges on and attach!
Not exactly sure what your question is, but it looks as though you could add some wood shelves to the cabinet - have the store you buy the wood from cut the right sizes for you - and add doors if you want hide everything. You could stain the wood shelves to match the rest of the cabinet or paint them different colors to denote what is to be stored on that shelf (to help the organizationally-challenged people you live with, you know!). I would also use brackets to support the shelves rather than the little dowels or plastic stops that come with these like of cabinets.
If tour space will allow, an Ikea cabinet would be fabulous to sir in there.
