      Thank you for your reply.

I was referring to an article published here in Hometalk a few weeks ago. It had a hint about storing plastic grocery bags in an old Kleenex box.

These can be recycled at many supermarkets or recycling centers if they take them.

I'm not sure what your question is. Are you looking for ways to store them or for ways to reuse them?

Our area of CA has banned plastic bags so people here have gotten creative.

They are used for the usual waste basket liners, carrying items to/fro. However, I've also seen them lined with towels for pot luck (hot dishes).

They're also being used to contain products for a car, baking, first aid, and

they make great emergency ice packs. They can also come along on walks

with your dog, etc. Possibilities are endless if you have access.

Sorry didn't see the article. I'd try placing them one inside the other

and bottom side up. Hope it works for you. If you find the item you're

referring to perhaps you could repost. Thanks and good luck. PF

I've used the regular long-size Kleenex boxes as well as the square ones to just stuff my plastic bags into. I sometimes roll them up and stuff in by I don't want to take the time to roll them up, etc. so the feed up out of the box. Too much time involved. I just grab and pull and no matter how I've smashed them in there, they come right out. I have an old plastic cup with a plastic lid that I use in my car (also stuffed with plastic bags) and cut an "X" in the lid and fed one through the top so I always have spare bags with me for whatever use.

I've made flowers out of some of the bags that have one side that isn't imprinted. Cut an oblong piece of the bag and fold accordion style and pinch the center of it and tie off with string or dental floss. Then pull each layer of both sides of the accordion toward the middle and you'll have a flower to tape to the wall or anywhere, even onto a gift package if yuo want.

There was a post awhile back on using a baby wipes container to have the bags pop up
