yes you can transplant them....they may not bloom as well this year; however will be fine for future years

Irises should be moved in the fall. I would not transplant them in the spring.
Yes, and I have bought some at a Spring church rummage sale. Came home and planted them. Didn't bloom that year, but did bloom the following year :)
I agree with above comments. Yes, irises can be transplanted in the spring. Just be sure you are past any frost. Transplant and frost may be too much stress and you might lose them. Given that, next year they should come back. Best of luck to you.
