How to get rid of voles?

I've asked before & tried all the remedies suggested, but I still have the little varmints through-out the yard. I want to get rid of these pests.. Please Help

Throw pieces of chewing gum in holes
Trap them. The traps are inserted into the holes and kills them.
chewing gum? really? I say lay down explosives like Bill Murray did in CaddyShack. KaBoom!!!
