privacy film
I have film on my kitchen windows to give me privacy from the house next door. Lots of light! This film is what I used: https://smile.amazon.com/Rabbitgoo-35-4in-78-7in-Premium-Decorative/dp/B00RDVCXAO/ref=pd_sim_201_3?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00RDVCXAO&pd_rd_r=1HCV1SNEGZV3EGFF5Q7G&pd_rd_w=VZjnS&pd_rd_wg=XBRVy&psc=1&refRID=1HCV1SNEGZV3EGFF5Q7G
Blinds or sheer curtains, shutters. I have a double rods on almost all my windows, sheers underneath and curtain on top. On a couple windows I also have vertical blinds for triple window treatment for just about any light or privacy issue.
First thoughts that come to mind are painting the window with Gallery Glass paint in whatever color you want so it looks like stained glass (use their clear glass paint and finger paint it to give it texture and add some privacy without sacrificing light), putting a stenciled design with either window paint, etching or Contact paper, or hanging a sheer curtain panel on it.
You can also buy adhesive window film that will give privacy but let light through.
Install a privacy window film, they come with adhesive and the non-adhesive ones just cling to the glass. Amazon has the best selection.... I like the bamboo one and some of the mosaic ones.... https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=window+film+privacy+and+leaves&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Awindow+film+privacy+and+leaves I used the green leaves one in my bedroom
They have window film at Home Depot that is really pretty. Or they have temporary blinds, you can use tacks to attach them to the top of the window, they have an adhesive strip but come off after a while in the heat of summer. I use them behind my sheers.
I have the light filtering cellular shades with the top down/bottom up feature. To me, this is the perfect combo for light and privacy
This company has a lot of options.
