I tape the waxed paper to a sheet of copy paper. That makes it stiff enough to feed into the printer. So glad you are enjoying Hometalk! I find new projects and tips everyday too.
Yes I did the same - although none of my tries worked too well sadly :(
I tape my wax paper to card stock and then print, the card stock provides a nice sturdy surface for the wax paper to go through. Make sure you don't have any edges that are really sticking up.
