Clothes moths are best kept at bay with cedar hangups. These are small pieces of cedar with a hanger on one end. They are placed regularly among hanging clothes to repel moths. There are also cedar blocks for drawers. Lightly sanding them once a year will expose new aromatic wood and keep them effective.

Pantry moths can fly into your home or be brought into your home from the grocery store. Avoid packaging with holes. Store susceptible foods in plastic or glass containers with tight sealing lids. If pantry moths are a continuing problem try The Pantry Pest Trap to trap adult moths before they can lay eggs; it lasts about 3 months. Another product is Orange Guard which kills or repels a variety of bugs for weeks. It is completely safe for use around food, people and pets.
