Very cute house. You could add a piece of dollhouse trim to cover the putty then paint to match or contrasting color. I would measure so you get the right size and amount. Good luck
use some sand paper sheets to cut roofing "shingles" and glue onto roof. You could also add shutters for a cute detail. Looks like a nice conversation starter.
remodel it into your dream home
First I would try chipping the putty off with a putty knife and then sanding. If that has not worked I would consider shaping more putty around the spots on the roof to form a decorative line as embellishment.
If it were up to me, I’d repurpose it as a large bird house and mount it on a tall salvaged porch column.
You can buy gingerbread trim and shutters for doll houses. I have one mounted on my bedroom wall and use it to display small antique dolls.
You can purchase little roof tiles to cover the roof. Look for sources that sell doll house supplies.
If you like the primitive look. I would paint it a maroon color repaint the roof tops black. Then use some fine sand paper and go over it to give it a distressed look. Paint a off orange primitive star in the middle between the two upstairs windows. And for the finished look add some battery operated t-lights that flicker or regular ones and put them in the house under the two windows.
