Absolutely! If your washing machine tub is not large enough, take to a coin laundry.
dont use regular laundry soap. the world largest on line realtor carries a product called down wash. it keeps the little feathers fluffy. dry on low heat rearranging the comforter occasionally. if you have clean tennis balls, 2 or 3 they help plump the down.
I don't believe there is... but you could take it to your local cleaners and see what they can do. Good luck!
It should have instructions on it, some are ok, some are not. If in doubt, get it dry cleaned.
Of course. Just be prepared to give it 2-3 days to air dry unless you want a dryer full of feathers.
I have washed mine repeatedly. I usually pre-oak with vinegar/baking soda in warm water, then wash as usual with detergent (no bleach), run an extra rinse cycle, then dry in dryer using low to moderate heat. Remember to clean your link filter before you start! It helps to fluff the down fibers if you add a couple of clean tennis balls to the dryer. No tennis balls? Crumple aluminum foil into balls about the size of lemons and toss them in. Be sure to run your dryer though as many cycles as necessary to be sure the comforter is completely dry before removing it.
yes, providing you machine can hold the weight, use Woolite
yes.
