look on the bottom of the plastc bowl, is there a triangle shape on it? That is a recycle symbol. The next to check is what type of plastic...no.2 is the most recycled. Milk jugs are no.2. If you have a recycling facility near you give them a call after noting the what all is written on the bottom of the bowl. Other types can be recycled as well...it was a lot of fun going to the recycling facility...got to see the steps taken to clean the plastic and to process it into pellets of different types to be used again for household use.
Ok, I have a warped sense of fun, I like to collect fun facts....
I thought this was a really cute idea https://za.pinterest.com/pin/489836896946148994/
My city accepts #2 plastics, but not above that.
Jean SF, glue two of the bottoms together and paint the bowls porcelain white with paint for plastic. Then leave the bowls whit, but paint the top rim gold, and add a string of fake pearls around the “waist” where the bowls are glued. Spray with polyurethane to seal. Adjust the paint and trim to suit yourself. Now you have a soap dish, nut or mint bowl, a jewelry bowl, a portable bird feeder or dog water dish, a chip or popcorn bowl, a key dish, a toy for over 3s, a remote holder, etc., etc. I suggest E6000, but white glue would last almost as long. Best wishes ☺️
Stick one on top of another (Base to Base) and use as container for flower arrangement using foam or in the garden to give birds a drink or bath. or in the bathroom as container for cotton wool balls etc. or as sweetie container.
If the bowls have a triangle on the back bottom, that says recycle, you can put them with other recyclables. Give the bowls to a neighbors kids, to play in the sand at the beach.
