At Walmart in the garden center is an electric fly swatter. It takes batteries and looks like a small tennis racquet. When you see one of those little pests aim for it with your fly swatter and it will die with one zap. End of flies. DO NOT TOUCH IT!! You will get zapped!!!!
Bug zappers aren’t just for outside. Or...you can buy a bug zapper that looks like a tennis racket, and runs on batteries.
Do you screens on the windows that are fine enough to prevent flies from coming in through them? I know in Florida, there are some very tiny flies and insects that are small enough to come through 'standard' builder grade window screens.
Flyswatter? What is the source or attraction? ... Once, I discovered a disgusting piece of rotting meat ( behind the garbage can ) with maggots ( which is the fly larvae) wow was that disgusting. That had been what atracted the flies, and there were about to be a lot more. ugh. Anyway - There might be something ( such as a dead rodent) somewhere in your house or nearby that is attracting the flies. So be on the look out for any area that has a nasty smell. One time we had a dead thing fall or be stuck in the chimney, and that is another place to take a closer look.
I have an old fashioned fly swatter for the errant fly that dares to enter my house.
We always have a couple of the hand held battery operated ones, they really do work, it almost is like a game trying to see who will get the flying insect first!
thank you
