Put moth balls all around your plants, while the smell is not so great, the squirrels stop digging up your plants!

Predator Pee is the answer! Use their Fox Urine for squirrel problems. Make sure to wear gloves when applying it! It’s actual 100% urine. Not sure how they get the pee but it is available on Amazon.

Dear Steve, Your hilarious, the squirrel's are next to impossible. They can get into anywhere. I saw a clip where a squirrel knew how to open a vending machine door, hit something inside, some thing would drop down and he got out, and on his way. The only way I could suggest to keep them away, is buy a bag of peanuts, spread them around the perimeter, but the drawback is you have to keep feeding them.

P.S. Buy peanuts in the shell.

ahh i feel you! the squirrels have been attacking my garden as well, they eat everything and the worse is they can climb so a fence won't work!! I plan to build some "cages" of chicken wire to put on top of my garden boxes/plants that have hinges so I can swivel open to pick from garden but keep them safe from the critters, I have see some cute ones that look pretty easy to make on pinterest
