Hi Michelle,
Our cooperative extension helped a homeowner with supplying a contact of someone that will come to collect the honeybees. Perhaps your local cooperative extensions office may have that same information to share.
Consider contacting your local county office āthe volunteer master gardeners there are quite knowledgeable.
Seek out your local beekeepers. Chances are they will come remove the hive for free! I have a few in my area and they are very friendly and want to help anyone with bee problems or starting hives.
I see ads in Craigslist all the time from Beekeepers who will gladly come and remove your hive for free. Just make sure they are legit because they will probably need to remove parts of your siding or wall to remove. You want to make sure they know what they are doing. Good luck.
Yikes!! I would hire a pro, you are likely to get stung multiple times if not careful!
Call a beekeeper or a pro. They are willing to do it for free. They have the experience. You don't want to release hundreds of bees on yourself.
Let professionals help you. Bees are nothing to fool with, especially if you are allergic as I am.
For that big of a hive, you need a beekeeper(s) They will probably have to remove the outside of the wall to get them all out...... and the honeycomb. Then you want to seal up all entries to the area from the roof down.
