Sounds like your granite has too much soap on it. There is a home made granite cleaner that I use almost daily on my dark granit. Granite (or any counter-top) shine/cleaner ~ Take a spray bottle, fill it about 1/8th full with rubbing alcohol, add a drop of Dawn dish washing soap, a few drops of scented oil (optional, but makes it smell so good), fill the rest of the way with water, shake together, and you’re good to go! It makes your granite (or any counter-top) shine and feel so smooth at a fraction of the price Whatever you do DO NOT USE VINEGAR AS IT WILL ETCH THE GRANITE. DON'T: Use harsh or abrasive cleaners and sponges. Windex; acidic cleaners, like vinegar, lemon, lime; or anything with ammonia or bleach should be avoided. Frequent use of these chemicals will dull and weaken the sealant over time. After you get it clean, Seal the granite, I do mine twice a year in the areas that I use the most. Tenex makes a good sealer. They also make a great granite cleaner. You can buy Tenex products on Amazon
