How to train a Trumpet vine tree?
I have a 2 year old trumpet vine I’d like to train into a tree. Can anyone tell me how?

Trumpet vine is just that, a vine, in spite of having woody limbs. It will never develop a "trunk" like a tree. However you can sink a pole in the ground or a teepee or trellis as tall as you wish and train it to wind around itself for a tree like appearance.

Just be aware that it will kill the tree.
i didn’t believe it when people told me that about letting ivy grow on my mature three trunk River Birch...they were right....took several years, but I no longer have a huge, beautiful tree, I have a huge stump.
