An herb garden! Make sure to provide adequate drainage first, then fill with soil and your favorite herbs.
Yard art. Fill with colors, marbals or broken glass, then seal with silacone caulking. A plate on top would make a bird feeder.
Have a big tree? Make wind chimes, change to tones with colored water sealed with a sauser and silacone.
Light up the walkway outside. Put lights under the them, maybe paint the inside with glow in the dark paint?
Chalkpaint on the outside to label what you want to store on the inside. Use balloons to strech over the tops.
Plant a spice garden for the kitcken, hang them by the handles in the window.
Use markers to color them and set in the widows for Sun catchers.
