score the paper and then soak it with hot water and vinegar spray bottle or sponge
If you have a wall steamer, it works great! You can rent one from Home Depot. We removed a ton of wall paper and did a post on it here -

I use warm water with fabric softener in it. Just spray on let sit a few minutes and peel with a plasiteic drywall or putty knife. If the paper is tenacious use a paper scorer (Paper Tiger) first then spray.
You can also use a steamer (even the cleaning type works).
Score and steam! The more you score, the more steam gets in, the easier to remove.

I used a steamer and it worked great.
Hello there,
Warm water with a spot of liquid soap added and a large sponge. Lay old towels on the floor to soak up the water that drips on the floor, or up your arms. It is really better to put the liquid on with a kitchen sponge Mop, and better still a Steamer.. Make a party of it, Invite friends to help............
