  • You need to dig them out at the roots. You will be battling for awhile unless you are willing to give up that bed for a season or two. If welling to give up the bed for awhile, dig up everything you can find. Then drown in vinegar. Every time you see a leaf appear, be diligent and dig dig dig and treat with vinegar. When completely gone, amend the soil heavily before replanting. Or you can smother it and hope for the best.

You have to dig them out getting as much of the roots as you can. Strip the leaves off the plant, rinse and add to a bottle of vodka.

Use a weed control product and try to kill them off. Keep the minted vodka in the fridge, use as you would use any flavoring. It will get stronger as it sits.
