Small space, 4 steps down need ramp for blind, arthretic pup

I have to build a ramp for my blind arthritic pup (long story but pup is only 7) that will fit in a small area. Other pups will be using it also but trying to figure out best way to make as I don't have the option of going back and forth so that the ramp is not too steep for her to use. Looking for ideals as everything I have thought of so far, is too big for the area ...

Not sure how much space you have, but would building a ramp with switchbacks work?

The ramp would be outside and has to fit in approximately 2.5 feet (30 inches wide) and can only go out about 3-4 feet beyond top step (approximately 3 feet from bottom of door to ground) ... used by both humans (mainly me) and other pups

When we built our ramp, we made sure to use a surface that had good traction and also added cross pieces down the ramp (like a ladder) so our dog had a sense of how far they'd walked. You don't say the size of the dog but a width of 12" should be fine for a big pet, narrower for a small dog. Really wish you had a pic of where you needed this so I could advise on how to anchor it.
