How to hang outdoor string lighting?
I purchased lights to hang in my patio area. I have vinyl siding on my house and a vinyl privacy fence. What's the best way to hang string lights without putting screws in my vinyl siding and fence? Also, I prefer not to put wooden post in the yard to accommodate the lighting.

I used Command Test strips with wonderful success. Be sure to clean the area where you want to affix the strip. Be sure to use the heavier duty strips. Also, do wait the 24 hrs that 3M suggests before you put the string of lights on.
Command hooks.
Hi Mel,
Command is your best bet ♥
Another option is to use clear vine attachments stuck on with bathroom caulk. Wait at least a few hours for the caulk to dry before hanging lights. If you want to match your vinyl siding with a color, go to a tile store. There are at least 20 colors of caulk that might match your siding.
Yes, I agree... Command products are great for things like this. You might even be able to spray paint them a color similar to your house (before you hang them) so they won't be very noticeable. Good luck!
Your welcome
I agree, Command Strips are a good first option. But, if you decide you want the attachments to be less obvious, the vine attachments with grout-to-match your siding will work, as well.
