What is the best way to update tile floors?
My husband and I want to redo the floor of our guest bathroom. The tiles are in good condition, but do not match our style at all! They just look out-dated. Is painting a time efficient or cost efficient option and does it last? Or has anyone updated tile floor in other ways?

I've seen some beautiful renovations on tiles using a stencil and chalk paint. I just updated our grout using Grout Refresh. It made a huge difference. Previously, our grout was dingy and no matter how much I cleaned it, it just looked gross. It's a bit time consuming, but totally worth it.
I used luxury vinyl plank that was made to install right over a subfloor. Easy to install and completely waterproof so it was perfect for the bathroom. I purchased it from Home Depot.
Diane, here's a before and after. Our grout was clean, I swear. It just always looked dirty no matter what I cleaned it with.
