How can I get rid of fire ants in my yard?
I put ant killers and fire ant killer on there mounds, but all they do is move to another place. They use to build them where you could see them now they build them in the grass and you can't see them, I am always stepping on them. They sure to hurt when they sting. Help!

We found a great powder at Ace Hardware called Bengal. We have used it for about 3 years. This year, however, it is only moving ants from this place to that as you are saying. Now we are also on the lookout for something that works. I wonder if the ingredients have been changed...worked soooo well for those years. If we do find something I will post! Sorry
Scalding hot water and lots of it.
I used over and out. You do have to put it over all of your yard, but no ants. Not exactly cheap, but worth it to be able to get in the yard and not worry. You MUST water it in when you put it out. I try to do so before we are getting a light shower. A hard rain will wash it away which is why you must water it so it soaks in. I have been using it for several years and did not need it this year as the ants did not bother coming back.
I heard pouring boiling hot water on the mounds kills them
Sprinkle the mound with grips don't disturb the mound the answer will come out and eat it and take it back into the nest and it will kill them
