How to hang roman shades?
How do I hang Roman shades on a triple window Each window is 35 1/2W x 59L
I currently have blinds and they are hung on one long piece inside the window. I can't hang roman shades this way. There is nothing to attach the roman shades to. The window is too wide for one large shade.

This is an Austrian shade but the hanging mechanism is the same as a Roman shade. Over the window frame is a narrow piece of wood, the width of the window. The curtain is fastened to top of this with velcro. On the underside of the wood are screw eyes. They are for the cords that facilitate opening the shade. The cords go through each screw eye that is above its cord, then over to the right where they are joined, knotted, leaving one cord to manipulate the shade with. You also need a small metal fixture to wrap the single cord around. To wash the curtain, all this must be removed (cords, curtain) leaving the cleat, board and screw eyes. It is a job.
you are probably going to have to get three shades and hang them on the three window, this will work well as you will then be able to just open one or two or all three, just follow the instruction from the shades, it shouldn't be any harder then hanging blinds were, hope this helps xx
