I save up the little bottles and individually wrapped soaps (and sewing kits) and pop them into home-made crackers at Christmas :)
I keep the oval face soap for my husband to shave with. I give as much as I can of all the hotel samples to our Homeless Ministry at church. We fix little bags with soap, deodorant and other personal items for homeless people who live behind buildings and away from the shelters. Sometimes we give necessities to a family shelter. And I always ask at the motels if I can have the amenities. Many times they give me extras for the ministry.
How about other people? ☺️
Shelters are always grateful.
Having lived in a hurricane prone area I save them for disaster relieve efforts to donate.
I often give them, in zip lock bags, to the homeless on corners.
