It would be difficult to explain how to create stained glass in a forum like ths. I know how. I took a class that lasted several months. There is an art to doing it and doing it correctly. Learning how to measure the glass and scoring it correctly is very important. I have a glass grinder that is one of the many tools I use and it's not cheap. OR, instead of using real glass, there are stained glass PAINTS where you draw or copy a design on a clear piece of glass and use the craft products to create a 'faux' stained glass piece ... Any good hobby shop will have all the supplies you need --- some even carry small pieces of glass ( 8 x 10" or smaller ) ... you can even MAKE your own 'paint' with craft acrylic paint and glue!!

Creating Faux Stained Glass With Acrylic Paint and Glue!
I have to agree this is a very time consuming and expensive hobby . I learned a very small amount t about this and decided to give it up. Also you have to be careful to keep up any glass shards so nobody else gets any of the shards into feet or elsewhere.
Hire it out.
