How much land? Any photos? Take photo from an upper room if you have a 2story.
Oh sounds like paradise so much space to work with. Create space with interest and dimension. Focal points are also good so basically start with figuring out what you want and draw it out on paper.
Then once you have that formulate more direct questions to help you achieve your goals.
Need ideas, Well I'd love for you to visit my blog, I live in Texas on flat land and currently taking a piece of land and turning it into a country style park atmosphere.
Most important - make it your own a place that inspires your activity.

Hello Twan,
Start in small areas - as not to be overwhelming. Do you want turf and garden border, or landscaped islands? I would suggest a personal consultation with your specific planting zone and soil in mind. Do you want color and blossoms or foliage?
I would highly suggest contacting your cooperative extension for a free consultation . These offices are manned by volunteer master gardeners on site there waiting to answer the communities questions that know your local situation quite well.
Master gardeners are required to volunteer back designated hours ( plus continuing education) each year to maintain MG certification -this community outreach and education is their goal. They have a PMG that will help you get rid of the worms if warranted.
Hello there, Twan - that sounds so exciting to me - a blank slate with which to create a garden. There are so many things to consider before you start. When you have a few minutes, check out this article I wrote: https://ginghamgardens.com/2018/03/15/flower-gardening-101/
It will help to get you started on your gardening venture. My best advice through is to start small your first year and if you decide you love gardening, you can keep on adding to your landscape. Good luck!
