My personal opinion is. Remove the blinds they make the room look dark. You can use vinyl film or frosted spray for privacy. I would remove the picture and add some square box shelves for your towels
This is one reason we did not install a tub in our master bath when we built our new house. Painting the wall is the cheapest remodel. Look into a paint that can also work on tile. I know there are some that can update the look of your tile, but go to a paint specialty store (Sherwin Williams or others) instead of big box store.
Thanks!! Great ideas!!😎

Hi Dan,. Take the canvas picture down. Replace it with 4 small pictures. Take the rack, that's holding what looks like washcloths down. Straighten up the area buy the tub with on basket with a few compartments. Place your folded washcloths right next to the wall by the faucet. You can also place the towels there, with the wascloths on top. I can see see the top of the window, but a nice valance would look nice at the top. Make sure the pictures have some of the same color in it that's on the wall. Buy a little larger plant, and put it where the towels were. It should be just green, and the moisture from the bathroom should keep it moist. Water it occasionally. Aloha!
I would put a nice shelf on the larger wall and put potted plants for some greenery. They should grow nicely with the window right there. Then a pretty flower picture above that should be a nice look. stack the towels in the larger area to the left. Then organize it for your needs.
Dan, I love some of the previous suggestions, especially those by Ebbjdl and Marilyn. I would Keep the rack on the short wall, and put a plastic bag in your master closet for for damp washcloths and towels. If the towels we see are only for show, put a big raffia straw bow around then. If for use, have all the sizes you will use with the tub on the wide tub shelf. I can’t quite tell, but if that is a bowl of shells, I would move it to another room. The other basket needs to be filled with siaps, bath oils, bubble bath, snack size bags of Epson salts, dry oatmeal, and baking powder, and washcloths. And what your bathroom really needs are walls in your favorite bathroom color, and a giant picture that makes you happy when you see it. Giant means a picture that almost fills the wall on the long side of the tub. Best wishes, Dan. I’d like to see some After pictures on Hometalk! ☺️
Dan, I'd remove everything so you can start with a clean slate. I don't know how involved you want to get, but here goes..... :) I'd paint the walls a different color to give it a more modern look. Gray? Blue gray? Whatever you like. I'd put shelving wherever you feel it would be accessed easily. You could make the shelves out of pipes and wood or make wooden shelves with sleek black brackets. You could use a wire basket for your towels. A nice wreath can be an inexpensive solution for wall decor. A nice big faux plant would be nice on the area where the plant is in the picture. Good luck.
Thanks all!!!
