How steep is the slope?
You can put potted mums on stump or fairy village, even solar light. That might take care of the stump!
You can cut down the stump, drill holes, and fill with epsom salt to speed decay.
another idea is a fairy garden around the stump and incorporate in the theme.
A picture would help. You could hollow out the stump and make it into a planter and make sure to put in plants that will cascade down the sides and some plants that will mound together and a spike or something in the middle.
Depending on the size of the area, I'd cover at least part of it with carefree plantings. Imagine this as it grows in :)
