How do I winterize roses?
I have a bed of 20 roses that I planted two years ago. What is the best way to winterize them for an upcoming healthy summer bloom? They are in the open, nothing to protect them from winds.

You could use hay. Pile it over and all around the roses.
If you have access to fall leaves you can cover/pile the leaves in mounds over then.
